Ultimate Purple Glitta Layering

I have been silent far too long.  I have lots to post so bare with me.  I bought the new Revlon glitter polishes last week and have been experimenting with them this week.  I started with the  purple one: Facets of Fuchsia.  I tried it alone at first and was not pleased with the result.  I was so displeased I did not take any pictures of it.  I know I should have but it was like "bleh"!  I recently acquired a long time lemming of Zoya Harlow so I decided to use it as a base with Revlon Facets of Fuchsia over it.

Here is the result of my original combo of Zoya Harlow and Revlon Facets of Fuchsia.  I liked this and got many compliments but still felt it needed something.  Luckily, I went on major nail polish shopping haul yesterday and came across the OPI Serena Williams Glam Slam sets.  One of which contained Servin' Up Sparkle.  I was sitting at my vanity last night looking at all my new polishes and it caught my eye.  I was like "hmmm" and applied it and instantly fell in love.

Here is the end result with OPI Servin' Up Sparkle.  I was staring at it all day today as I worked.  The picture does not do it justice.  But seeing as the Texas sun finally decided to hide from me this was the best I could get!

I hope you like it as much as I do.  I have definitely had fun playing with these lovely colors.  What do you think?

  2. I'm not a big fan of big glitter, but that looks AMAZING!!! Enough to make me second guess myself! I also live in Texas and am new to having the polish bug myself. I have been thinking about starting a blog to see if I get any better over time and to share my nail designs because I love nail art!

  3. Your layering combination is what I would call a Holy Cannoli Manicure! It's breathtaking and really inspirational.

The Revlon polish already is stunning, but you took it to the next level with your multiple layering combination! :D NICE!
