Nails and makeup-my life saving past time. When you are stuck in deep south Texas there isn't much to do. So over the past three years I have delved into makeup and nail polishes. And recently I have decided to learn nail stamping. This blog is dedicated to my love of both.

NOTD: True Blood Splatter
I am a die hard True Blood fan and I have been dying to do a splatter mani. So a big thank you to LTHP for her inspiration. This is my first attempt at doing a splatter mani. I used 2 coats of Zoya Purity as the base and Zoya Sooki for the splatter. These colors are perfect for doing a splatter mani. Zoya formulas are so awesome to work with too! Hope you enjoyed it. I had a blast doing it!

Kat Von D True Romance Pigments Swatches and Look
Kat Von D True Romance Pigments in Meditation and Ladyhawke |
The first color is Meditation. This is a great color. It is such a beautiful shimmery light brown. I absolutely love the formula of these pigments. They stick well to the makeup brushes and go on smoothly. A little bit goes a long way especially with eye shadow primer and they stay in place all day.
Next is Ladyhawke. I love this name. Ladyhawke is a beautiful shimmery brownish plum. I just love this color paired with Meditation. Again, the formula is great. It goes on smooth even when using it on the natural crease.
Left: Meditation Right: Ladyhawke |
I swatched these with primer as I use primer with all my eye shadows. This picture was taken in sun. I just love the shimmer of Meditation and the richness of Ladyhawke. Incredible shades and formula once again Kat Von D hits it out of the park!

I love everything about this product and I have nothing bad to say about it. I will definitely be getting more shades to try the next time I go to Sephora. What do you think? Comments are greatly appreciated.

Introduction
I am starting this blog because I just love all the stuff I buy for hair, face and nails and I thought it would be nice to share. I started developing an interest in all things beauty when my step-daughter introduced me to Sephora several years ago much to my husbands dismay. I started spending a lot of time (and money) on their site and then I got the nail polish bug. I started with OPI and OPI for Sephora and then I discovered ZOYA! Now I am a ZOYA-aholic!!! I must say I love all their colors and formulas <3 In the future look for reviews from ZOYA, Illamasqua, Kat Von D and more.
